Experiments

Design meets code.

I use generative design and creative coding to play with visual systems and technical constraints at the same time. Some experiments are visual. Some are narrative: automated pipelines that publish a story, illustration, and optional narration every day, with a reader UX built to match.

Most of this work sits at the intersection of math and aesthetics: algorithms that generate form, color systems that shift with parameters, visual rules that produce results I didn't predict. I use JavaScript and canvas-based tools to explore ideas quickly, and occasionally push them into print or interactive work.

The write-ups below document what shipped, what broke, and what I learned.

The Gomez Glitch

Designer & builder (AI-assisted)

Concluded · 99 of 365 days

One new chapter every morning: AI prose, an illustration, optional narration. I ran it for 99 days, then stopped when the question was answered.
